The Duties of the Designer

The Designer should undertake to:

Assist the client in the construction and preparation of the brief and offer advice on the feasibility of the Client's suggestions and requirements.

Propose solutions to problems and assist in the development of an approved design.

Offer advice on the appointment of additional specialists if required and assist in co-ordinating their work into the overall scheme

Prepare and undertake applications for the registration of domain names if required to do so.

Advise on a suitable hosting package with an Internet Service Provider if required.

Offer administration of the site once it has been published and provide backup, maintenance and disaster recovery if requested.


The Duties of the Client

The Client should undertake to:

Provide adequate information to enable the Designer to fulfil his or her obligations outlined in the agreement between both parties.

Act on the Designer's recommendations in the appointment of third party specialists.

Take decisions and respond promptly to queries from the Designer.

Instruct the Designer on the submission of formal administration and pay statutory fees arising from these submissions.

Pay professional fees and expenses properly due in connection with the project as a whole.
